Update FlipAlbum 6 Standard/Suite/Pro

Dear FlipAlbum® 6 Standard/Suite/Pro users,

The latest update for FlipAlbum® 6 Standard/Suite/Pro is now available. This update will change your current build number to 6.0.2.338.

The new FlipAlbum® 6 Standard/Suite/Pro version 6.0.2 Build 338 includes:

Bug Fixes

1. Certain images with crop effects appeared "black" during flipping, and at times remained "black" even when the page has landed.
2. Memory leak observed whenever the page information was inserted onto a page that contained animated gif.
3. Failed to invoke Help file from Image Editor.
4. Image appeared pixilated when viewed on the Print Preview window.
5. Preview window hung after performing the following steps: zoom on a page that contains a MPEG object, right-click to set "Fit to Width", play the video, right-click and select "Information".
6. The Delete Page right-click menu on the Overview, Contents and Index pages disabled after the only image was removed from a single image page.
7. The book cover color could not be set from Options -> Set Book Options menu, Book Cover tab on certain occasions.

[The following bug fixes apply to FlipAlbum® 6 Suite and Pro only]
1. The error "Specified Module could not be found" encountered when adding a video file in an album. That happened after the last created Album CD was deleted.
2. 'Burn to CD' button on CD Maker dialog box enabled even though Nero Burning ROM was not installed.
3. Redundant MCD file created in the folder containing the exported still images when exporting the album to still images under the Export Album for TV Viewing function.
4. Pages with GIF page backgrounds could not be displayed when exporting album for TV viewing.
5. The error "Cannot focus a disabled or invisible windows" encountered when flipping pages using the Flipping Control toolbar of Album CDs that were created with the option "Start with album opened".


To update your program, launch the FlipAlbum® program and go to File->Online Update. When the 'Online Update' window appears on the screen, click 'Update'.

After the download has completed, exit the program and restart your computer. Your program should then be updated.

If for any reasons you are not able to perform the online update, click here to download the patch and double-click on the downloaded file to install the patch.

We have just verified that the new FlipAlbum® 6 Standard/Suite/Pro version 6.0.2 Build 338 will not launch if Microsoft Anti-Spyware Beta1 program is actively running on WinXP machines.

To overcome this, please disable Microsoft Anti-Spyware Beta1 program before launching FlipAlbum® 6 Standard/Suite/Pro version 6.0.2 Build 338. To disable Microsoft Anti-Spyware Beta1 program, right-click on the Microsoft Anti-Spyware icon on the taskbar and click on 'Shutdown Microsoft Anti-Spyware' menu.
